June 16 to 17 and June 23 to July 25 If We’re Being Honest by Vipoo Srivilasa. Joyful, disarming, and quietly ritualistic, Srivilasa invites audiences into an immersive, multisensory exhibition shaped by ceramics, touch, sound, and participation. Moving through darkness and anonymity, visitors make, offer, and confess. Here, the subconscious takes the lead: what emerges when we let ourselves be honest, allowing truth to surface through making gesture, and sensation? Curated by Caine Chennatt.

To Sept 27 Beautiful Tensions – Gray Street Workshop celebrates 40 years. Artists: Jess Dare, Lisa Furno, Sue Lorraine, and Catherine Truman. Presented by JamFactory. This major touring exhibition articulates the group’s shared commitment to the value of making, and the power of objects to transmit meaning. The way their shared themes are articulated so differently in the exhibition is a cogent expression of how the group works, in their own words, ‘separately together’.

Long-term exhibition Guan Di Temple – offers a captivating window into the rich heritage of Chinese migrants during the bustling tin-miningera of the late 19th century. This temple holds the contents of a number of Chinese temples from northeastern Tasmanian mining towns.
